Real Life Examples of Quality Nutrition and healthy decisions-it is not a diet, it is most definitely a lifestyle.

Whenever Possible, opt for quality with your nutrition!

I just returned from picking up my bread from the bread lady.  I don’t eat a ton of bread but it is very good and the kids like it.  The main reason I try to order it,  as I feel the quality is very high.  Anything I eat, I want the highest quality possible.  I feel that as a society we may need to do more of this.  Support someone who has a talent or system in place that can produce a quality product.

Does it cost a little more? Yes, they don’t get subsidized by the govt unfortunately…

When it comes to nutrition I’m not looking to save money, this is one of the few areas in my life where that is not the case….The quality is what matters.

Why is the quality at the store so bad? Well, they know that you will keep buying it.  They will give you poison food because it’s cheaper for them to make and they will make more money.  The only way any of this changes is if the profits go down.  The big boys (state street, black rock, etc) own everything so it’s going to be tough for them to change.  Pharma, food, finance, they got it all covered…Think of it as a casino or a resort on vacation, they want to provide you everything you need right where you are at so you spend all your money with them.  You want to eat, they got it, gamble, swim, shop, massage, golf the resort has it all for you right there.  It’s the same thing at the store, the big boys own everything (essentially a monopoly) and don’t really have to change their practices.  They know you are gonna buy it, eat it, get sick eventually, and then sell you drugs to fix the problem that you got from buying their shitty food.  I would rather not try to save 18 cents and stay far away from that loop of horror.  I’ll pay more and get grass fed meat from a farm and bread from a person that makes it.  Organic veg from a farmers market when possible is the way to go for me.  It sucks that we can’t live normal lives like we did 40 years ago but it is what it is.

On the way home from the bread lady I saw a guy setting up a table that was selling his own honey.  This was the impetus of the post.  I hope as a society we can try to take back our own health by working together.  I don’t think that any election is going to change anything, call me a cynical clown, but I don’t think the elites and government cares about your health.  If you know of anyone that does their own thing like the bread lady or honey guy let me know about it in the comments!
